I'm supposed to be studying, but I honestly can't be bothered. This poetry translation is just so... pointless. By the time I have looked up all the words I don't understand and am trying to make sense of them the poem is dead. I killed it with my lack of comprehension. All meaning and significance will have left it. They ran off in horror at the way I was treating them. At least they were able to save themselves.

I'm feeling better, though, and think I will go to class today. I haven't done my readings, but it's just a lecture, and I THINK I have a study group meeting afterward. I hope so, anyway. I need help with my translation for Thursday. Big time.

I think maybe Mary-Sue made me ill. Over-exposure, or something. I never should have written that fic... I posted it on ff.net two days ago and I haven't received a single flame. Kind of disappointing. Was I not rude enough? Should I have been even nastier? Or is it just that there are so many Mary-Sue parodies out there that the Suethors no longer care?

I got another idea for a CrapFic this morning. "Harry Potter and how Fanon tried to kill Canon." I'm not sure it will work as a story, though. And I never meant to write more of them. Then again, I never meant to write the first one, either...
