well, that didn't last long...

I got bored with the Makes You Sick layout, and I've been in a Jane Austen-y mood lately, since I found those awesome icons at iconzicons, so I figured, why not just go with that? Because I've already done Slytherin, so doing a Voldemort theme seemed boring, and also too much work...

It's taken forever, and I really had planned on sleeping tonight, but I'm sort of pleased with the result. Mostly because I worked out the header image thing. Yay me for being so clever. Ehh. Next step: Learn how to save layouts. But the feathering on the header image bugs me. Why will it not feather into transparency when I save it as a .gif file? Why do I have no clue what I'm doing?

Next project: Decorate my door on the inside. I'll do just about anything to not have to read Russian history texts in Russian. Even feign creativity.

only now my back hurts

I decided I wasn't really happy with my new layout after all, so I made some changes. And a mood theme. Which is totally *squee*. Now all I need is a proper standard icon. One that goes with the rest of the journal.

Photobucket was completely useless and kept resizing my background image even if the file wasn't too large, so now it's on imageshack, because uploading it to my LJ ScrapBook (my what?) didn't work either. I wonder when it will be deleted, because I uploaded it without registering.

Oh, and I totally worked out the CSS thing. I think I even sort of got it, at least to the point of being able to tweak it.
