How about getting yourself a layout that accept things to be more than 400 pixels wide? ;P
No offence, but that's an awfully small workspace for things. I know that this test IS very wide, but it starts to get extreme when you can't even show the picture on it's own. O.o
Or maybe I'm just suffering from a hopeles "visual artist" enviromental damage.

Memes aren't exactly the main ingredient of my journal, so I don't see why I should make my layout to accommodate them just because once in a while there is one.

This layout isn't meant to be practical, it's meant to be pretty.
