"don't you have an elsewhere to be?"
Jun. 28th, 2006 12:38 amRevamped my LJ. I'm not too sure about the color scheme, so any comments are appreciated, but I was so completely fascinated by the fact that
gwennafran was made nauseous by it, so I had to keep it like this. Also, it makes me giggle, which is always cool.
( It's really much too early to get excited about the next Harry Potter book )
I got up this morning very determined to actually DO something. As opposed to yesterday, when my greatest achievement was showering. I had it all planned out: Dishes, hand wash laundry annoyance, filthy cupboard under the sink (gross!), cleaning in general, do some Russian stuff. I managed the dishes and the laundry, but in my defense, there was a LOT. I'd take a picture to prove it, but I can't be bothered. And I managed to forget about the translation I'm supposed to have done tonight. Because I actually got paid for the work I did in 2005 last week, so I thought "Why not?" This is why not. Because it's booooring.
So except for the translation, which HAS to be done, I've made it my to-do list for the week. And the fact that my mother is coming day after tomorrow is rather motivating. I'll vacuum and such, at least.
Someday, somehow, I'll acquire some artistic skill and do a cover for my WaT-Sam mix. And finish the fic. Yeah, I fixed the perfume stuff. I can no longer relate at all, but that's not really important. It's at least accurate now, perfume-wise. So, great. Now I just need to write the rest of it.
Which reminds me... There was a Poppy Montgomery movie on last night. Murder in the Hamptons. Bizarre! ALP in 29th Street was weird, but nothing at all like this. Admittedly, I didn't watch all of it, because football came on, but I taped it and I will. And it's not that it was so very bad. Compared to Chasing Papi it was downright good, but it was just very strange. And I've always hated that narrative style where they give you the ending first. And that "half the story is told through interviews.' Having both is very frustrating. The hotness of David Sutcliffe and the fun-ness of Poppy being mental isn't enough to make up for that.
How did Pless getting his ass wiped become Match of the Day? Yes, it's amusing to me to watch that, but it's not really memorable. I wonder if he has come out of the closet yet? So pathetic.
