Sep. 16th, 2006 12:00 amPlease someone explain to me why my Lene Marlin CD was stuck with Random Compilations so I spent 10 minutes trying to find it...
I had a vague idea that I had put it in Danish Female Artists for reasons that should make sense to no one, but it wasn't there. So International Female Artists, then? Nope. International Band With Female Lead? (Who knows why it should be there, but whatever.) Noooo. Danish Male Artist, then, because there was a hole? Nah.
So I'm racking my brain trying to remember who had been found worthy to borrow it and then neglected to return it (Bitch!) and came up blank. Claudia was the only likely option, and she already has it herself.
Finally I just go through my CD's from the bottom up, and there it is. On the very bottom shelf, all dusty, sitting between a Britney Spears single (Sometimes) I bought in High School, just because I was too cool in general (Right...), and Absolute Hits Of The 80's... (Why is Britney on the shelf, you might ask, when it's Random Compilations. Well, dumb-ass, because it's BRITNEY and that's the only shelf that's always hidden behind bottles of alcohol. Obviously.)
And, no, I'm not anal and neurotic about my CD's. If I were they would be organized alphabetically -- or autobiographically, which is just the coolest idea EVAH and which I must admit I considered for a while, until I realized that there was no way I would be able to remember. This is just the way I'm most likely to find what I'm looking for, and also it's cool to have all the Angry Chick Music in one place when you just have a general feeling that that's what you're in the mood for.
Okay, maybe just a LITTLE anal. If you insist.
