So, after the whole "Does college make you talk about philosophers all the time?" Veronica Mars thing last week, today in class Ib goes from talking about racial stereotyping in Disney's Jungle Book, to telling us how Kierkegaard totally saw the monkeys coming, and then I spaced out for a bit because I had Kierkegaard in my head singing "I wanna be like you-hu-hu." I woke up to something about Aristotle and mimesis, and then with absolutely NO segue: "But of course, *Freud* would say that they..." And yes, we were still talking about the monkeys... Then he reached a whole new level of neurosis about the chairs, and no one could keep from laughing. I have no clue what the rest of the class was about. But I think there was nothing about his inappropriate enthusiasm for Bakhtin, at least.

3+ started repeats of Veronica Mars today. Five eps a week starting at the beginning. It'll mean sitting through Stupid!Annoying!Duncan all over again, but it'll also mean I get to see if there were any clues to the VeronicaLogan relationship, because the first time around I thought I was hallucinating. Clapping my hands 'coz I was right and I'm da bomb for that, but hallucinating, because I really never thought that would happen. Ever.

So this solves the problem of what I'm going to do in the afternoon now that I've decided solitaire is stupid. Line-up: Judging Amy, VM, WaT. Oh, and then JAG with stupid Meg, but that's when the news come on as well, so never mind.

I watched another ep of Prison Break last night. It was Sunday, and Sundays suck for television. I still don't get it. I mean, the 'suggestion box' comment made me laugh, but no. It's like X-Files with no aliens and no Mulder and no Scully, so all that's left is boring people so cool they don't give a s*** if they have their toes cut off. What's the point of that? Someone explain it to me, please? I need a good hype.

Yeah, I need to be able to walk properly again. This whole "only talking to people in class" is not working for me.

Accomplishments of the day: Smiled at bus driver despite nearly falling off the steps & fell asleep after reading five pages of Brave New World.
